OUR PRACTICE
A Certified Passive House architectural studio, with over 40 years of experience, ChoShields Studio offers extensive architectural and technical expertise with a strong multidisciplinary approach. We practice architecture to strengthen communities through ground work, designing and building energy efficient structures as well as through fortifying public policies and empowering current and future generations through education at all levels, including promoting public awareness.
Our work encompasses the full range of project scales from interiors to community development. We integrate research of sustainable materials and building systems to ensure a balance between the natural and the built environment. Through our decades of experience and strong appreciation of teamwork we effectively communicate with all parties involved for successful project fruition and community strengthening.
The studio offers complete architectural services from initial planning and design to construction administration and project completion. We work proactively with our clients and collaborate with the supporting team of consulting engineers, artists, and expediters to create sensitive buildable plans that function beautifully.
